The Festivities of Saint Lawrence and Our Lady of Sorrows, in Folgoso (Castelo de Paiva), begin on 10 August, the feast day of Saint Lawrence, with a Mass at the Chapel of Folgoso, and reach their highlight on the weekend of 21 to 23 August: evenings of dancing, the entrance of the
Banda de Música dos Mineiros do Pejão with a concert at the bandstand, and the Mass in honour of the two patron saints followed by the solemn procession. They are organised by the Comissão de Festas de Folgoso.
