Sons do Minho

Sons do Minho are a group from Viana do Castelo whose artistic vision is built around a repertoire of original songs and traditional improvised folk singing. They are known for their dynamic and interactive performances, which bring joy and good spirits, in the spirit of the festivals and fairs of Alto Minho. In 2024 they won the Premio Play in the 'Musica Ligeira e Popular' category with the song 'Recomecar'. In 2026 they celebrate 15 years of their career with a national tour bringing together their greatest hits. They also promote the Tertulia a Desgarrada, an informal gathering where other artists join them for spontaneous musical moments.
