biography
Sócios da Mangueira are a samba school based in Mealhada, founded on 7 December 1978. Over the years they have become a prominent presence at the city's carnival, accumulating several titles, including three consecutive championships between 2018 and 2020.
Their headquarters were destroyed by a fire in 2020, an episode that left its mark on the group's history. Currently led by Juvenal Santos, the school remains active and close to its audience through its social media channels.
