biography
The Banda de Música da Trofa is a philharmonic band founded in 1951 in the city of Trofa, in the district of Porto, and managed by the Associação Musical e Cultural da Trofa. There is a street named after it in the parish of Bougado.
On the programme for the Festas de Nossa Senhora das Neves, in Marinhas (Esposende), in 2026, it appears as 'Banda Musical e Cultural da Trofa'.
