The Festas de Verão de São Manços, in honour of Our Lord São Manços and Our Lady da Ajuda, take place from 27 to 31 August 2026, in the village of São Manços (Évora). There are five bull runs through the streets of the village (from the AGP Monte das Pedras and Catarina Fernandes ranches), a calf run for the younger ones, a bullfight, two heifer fights and the pegas competition. On Sunday the 30th, there is a solemn mass followed by a procession through the village streets, a communal lunch and dinner. On Monday the 31st, the traditional garlic açorda is served with prizes, and the 5th Fado Night takes place. Every evening there are dances and shows: Zé Pedro Sousa, Luís Romero y su Banda, Tiago Miguel, Los Bomberay, Jorge Nunes, Cerrado por Vacaciones,
À Deriva and Ganda Banda, with various DJs into the early hours.
