Feast in Honour of Our Lady of Fontes

The Festa em Honra de Nossa Senhora de Fontes is celebrated in Serzedo, in the União das freguesias de Serzedo e Perosinho, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia. It is a festival dedicated to the local patron saint, cherished by the community through the religious traditions that define this land. As with many popular Portuguese festivals, the days of celebration bring together devotion and togetherness, with music, dance and the festivities that are particular to this place. It is a moment when the parish gathers to keep its traditions alive and support the activities of the community.

Serzedo is a land with deep roots in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, where faith and tradition are preserved in the stones of its churches and in the gestures of its people. Here, the Igreja Paroquial de Serzedo stands as a landmark of local devotion, while the Capela do Senhor da Pedra invites visitors to linger in a corner of serene spirituality.
