The festival in honour of Our Lady of the Snows takes place in Benquerença, in the municipality of Penamacor, from 4 to 7 August 2026, with the motto 'Benq'eu te quero'. It opens on the night of the 4th with the candlelight procession. On the 5th there is a street parade with the Banda Filarmónica da Aldeia de João Pires, a mass in honour of Our Lady of the Snows, and a street parade with Lois e Amigos. On the following nights, Virgílio Faleiro, Band & Tarola, Sérgio Corista and Electrik Band perform, with Dj Billings closing out the early hours. Bar and restaurant service is available.
