Mira is a municipality in the district of Coimbra, in the Coimbra Region (formerly Beira Litoral). It covers 124.03 km², has four parishes (Carapelhos, Mira, Praia de Mira and Seixo) and 12,113 inhabitants (2021 census). It borders Vagos to the north, Cantanhede to the east and south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.
