Trio Montenegro was a Portuguese traditional music group founded in 1956, which remained active for around three decades. They dedicated themselves to popular and folk music, making their presence felt at popular festivals and events throughout the country.
They were known for the lively atmosphere they brought to village festivities, accompanying the typical ballroom dances and circle dances that characterise Portugal's festive tradition.
