biography
Sarilhos a Bombar is a musical group formed in 2023 in Vilarinho, Santo Tirso, dedicated to keeping Portuguese folk music and traditions alive. They bring together around thirty musicians who play bombos, caixas and concertinas, accompanied by gigantones and Zés Pereira, bringing celebration and rhythm to all who hear them.
Since their founding, they have performed around thirty times in twenty-five locations across the country, with the aim of passing these traditions on to future generations. They celebrate their third anniversary on 17 October 2026, with a festival at the Parque Desportivo de Vilarinho.
