biography
The Rancho Folclórico e Etnográfico da Vila de Pias was founded in 1998, in the Vila de Pias, in the municipality of Ferreira do Zêzere. It is dedicated to the collection, preservation and promotion of the traditional dances, costumes and customs of its region, taking part in numerous events and traditional festivals.
As a member of the Federação do Folclore Português, the group keeps local ethnography alive, bringing the folklore of its homeland to a variety of festivals throughout the country.
