Rancho Folclorico do Penedo is a group that represents the folklore of the Alta Estremadura region. It was founded in June 1980, in the village of Quinta do Sobrado, dedicated to the promotion of the dances, costumes and popular traditions of its region.
It has been affiliated with the Federacao de Folclore Portugues since 1992, and is also linked to INATEL. Throughout its history, the group has taken part in folklore festivals and been present at events organised by other folk groups in the region.
