Rancho Folclórico do Cartaxo is a Portuguese folk group founded on 13 May 1956, having affiliated on 26 October 2005. It is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the traditions, dances and costumes of its region.
Throughout its history, the group has refined its costumes to reflect the traditional rural and agricultural dress of the early twentieth century, namely from the 1900s and 1920s, thus honouring the memory of the people of the land.
