biography
Os Chibatas are a traditional percussion group from Castelo Branco, formed in 2012. The group stands out for their bass drum playing, dancing and singing, bringing the sound and energy of folk percussion to the stages and festivals of the region.
Throughout their journey, Os Chibatas have been responsible for organising initiatives such as the Encontro de Percussão Tradicional, and are associated with the Associação Juvenil Ribeiro das Perdizes.
