Mike da Gaita is a Portuguese musician who blends contemporary sounds with traditional Portuguese music, with the concertina as his instrument of choice. He is known for tracks such as 'Vamos Pro Chantiere', 'Ciganinha' and 'Wesh Wesh', in a style of his own that brings together modern rhythms and popular roots.
With a body of work marked by sincerity and the ability to bring people from different backgrounds together, he took part in the 'Visita o Minho' festival, where he paid tribute to the traditional music of the Minho region. His most recent work, 'Seguindo meu caminho', features collaborations with several artists and showcases his distinctive way of playing the concertina.
