The Grupo de Folclore da Casa do Povo da Ribeira Brava is a traditional Portuguese group dedicated to preserving and promoting the folk dances, costumes and music of their region. Based in Ribeira Brava, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, their repertoire features the accordion and typical Madeiran instruments such as the braguinha, as well as characteristic dances like the baile pesado.
Like many folk groups connected to the Casas do Povo, they keep their homeland's cultural heritage alive, performing at popular festivities and pilgrimages and bringing Madeiran tradition to different stages.
