Daniel Sousa is a Portuguese singer and concertina player from Arcos de Valdevez, known for bringing the Minho tradition to national and international stages. Born in 1991 in Lisbon, he discovered his passion for traditional music at an early age, becoming a prominent figure in promoting the musical heritage of Minho.
His work is rooted in traditional Minho music, featuring original compositions and 'canas verdes', a genre characteristic of this region's folk songbook, with a particular connection to Soajo.
