The Coro da Sé Catedral do Porto was founded on 1 March 1971 by Canon Dr. António Ferreira dos Santos, dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of Portuguese sacred music, both ancient and modern. It holds a vast repertoire that includes works by great composers.
It is considered one of the most iconic choirs in Portugal, maintaining a regular activity linked to the liturgical and cultural life of the city of Porto.
