Banda Musical de Baltar is a philharmonic band based in Baltar, in the municipality of Paredes. Founded in 1860, it has a long tradition in the musical life of the region, having been re-established in 1989.
Made up of around 61 members and under the direction of Benjamim Vieira, the band maintains a regular programme of concerts and participations in festivals and events, and is a well-known presence in the local philharmonic scene.
