Banda de Música de Cabreiros is a cultural, musical, artistic and recreational association founded in 1843 by João Martins Oliveira. With more than a century and a half of history, it celebrated its 181st anniversary in 2026, establishing itself as a collective recognised at both national and international level.
Guided by the motto 'Honrar o Passado, Rumo ao Futuro', the band values the preservation of its musical tradition while investing in passing the torch to younger generations. Throughout the year it maintains a busy schedule, with highlights including a performance at the Teatro Circo in Braga and the closing of the Noite Branca de Braga in 2023.
