Banda de Melres, also known as Banda Musical de Melres, is a reference ensemble in the region, dedicated to classical and light music. In 2024, it celebrated its centenary, a milestone that attests to its long tradition and strong cultural identity.
Made up of around 70 musicians, the band has a regular presence at festivals and celebrations, keeping Portuguese philharmonic culture alive.
