The Associação Recreativa de Nossa Senhora de Fátima do Arco de São Jorge, also known as Banda do Arco de São Jorge, was founded on 13 October 1933 by Silvano Abreu. Based in Arco de São Jorge, on the island of Madeira, the band has already celebrated its 90th anniversary, maintaining a constant presence in the musical and festive life of its hometown.
