A_marTuna is a mixed tuna from the Escola Superior de Turismo e Tecnologia do Mar, in Peniche. Formed by higher education students, it follows the Portuguese academic tradition of playing traditional instruments and bringing serenades and music to a wide variety of stages and gatherings.
Its repertoire includes fado, a distinctly Portuguese and often melancholic genre, performed by both male and female members, as a living expression of the culture of university tunas.
